📅 Day 1: Arrival in Agartala & City Exploration
  • 🚖 Pickup from Agartala Airport (IXA) / Agartala Railway Station (AGTL).
  • 🏰 Ujjayanta Palace – Iconic Indo-Saracenic style palace turned museum.
  • 🏛️ Tripura State Museum – Inside the palace complex, showcasing Tripura’s royal & tribal heritage.
  • 🛕 Jagannath Bari Temple – Famous 19th-century temple.
  • 🌳 Heritage Park – A beautifully landscaped urban park.
  • 🛍️ Evening: Agartala Bazaar for handicrafts & Tripuri cuisine (try Mui Borok, fish & bamboo shoot dishes).
  • Overnight Stay: Agartala 🏨
📅 Day 2: Wildlife & Lake Palace
  • 🌿 Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary – Famous for spectacled monkeys, clouded leopards & birdwatching.
  • 🛕 Tripura Sundari Temple (Maa Tripureswari) – A revered Shakti Peetha in Udaipur, one of the 51 sacred sites.
  • 🚗 Continue to Melaghar.
  • 🏰 Neermahal (Lake Palace) – A unique water palace built in Rudrasagar Lake by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya. Evening light show & boating.
  • Overnight Stay: Melaghar 🏨
📅 Day 3: Rock Carvings & River Views
  • 🚗 Drive to Chabimura (Devatamura) – Hill carvings of Hindu deities (14th–15th century) on steep rock faces along the Gomati River. Boat ride excluded.
  • 🌊 Proceed to Dumbur Lake – A large picturesque lake with 48 islands, boating, and birdwatching.
  • 🌅 Sunset at Dumbur backwaters.
  • Overnight Stay: Dumbur Lake Cottage/Resort 🏞️
📅 Day 4: Scenic Drive to Unakoti – Land of a Million Sculptures
  • 🚗 Morning drive from Dumbur to Unakoti (approx. 6 hrs).
  • 🗿 Unakoti Rock Carvings – A heritage site with giant stone faces & carvings of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, and other deities. Legend says there are “one less than a crore” (99,99,999) sculptures.
  • 🌿 Stroll around Kailashahar town in the evening.
  • Overnight Stay: Kailashahar 🏨
📅 Day 5: Return to Agartala & Departure
  • 🚗 Drive back to Agartala.
  • 🛕 En route visit Fourteen Goddess Temple (Chaturdasha Devata Temple) at Old Agartala.
  • 🛍️ Last-minute souvenir shopping (Tripuri bamboo crafts, handloom Risa & Rignai).
