Itinerary
DAY 1

Arrival in Dimapur

  • Arrive at Dimapur Airport (DMU). You will be greeted by your travel representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel for check-in.
  • After check-in, the rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

DAY 2

Dimapur Sightseeing

    • After breakfast, explore the Ahom Kingdom Ruins, dating back to the 13th century. The ruins reflect the rich culture and heritage of the Ahom dynasty.

Dimapur to Kohima

  • Evening:

  • Explore the town, and learn about the Ao Naga people’s traditions, especially their agricultural practices and rich folklore.

DAY 6

Mokokchung to Tuensang

  • Morning:
  • After breakfast, drive towards Tuensang (approximately 72 km, 3-4 hours).
  • Afternoon:
    • En route, stop to visit Longma and Lungso villages of the Ao Naga tribe. Explore their unique lifestyle and traditions.
  • Evening:
  • Check in to your hotel in Tuensang and relax.

DAY 7

  • Afternoon:
  • Arrive in Mon, check in to your hotel, and relax.

  • Explore the town and enjoy the local culture.

DAY 9

Mon Sightseeing

  • Morning:
    • After breakfast, explore Longwa Village, one of the largest villages in Mon. It is located on the India-Myanmar border, and you can witness the unique Konyak Naga culture.
    • Visit Shangnyu Village, ruled by the chief “Angh,” and see the famous Twin Trees that are deeply intertwined in Konyak tradition.
  • Afternoon:
  • Continue exploring the local villages and learn about the fascinating customs of the Konyak tribe.

  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 10

Mon to Dibrugarh

  • Morning:
  • After breakfast, drive towards Dibrugarh in Assam (approximately 225 km, 7-8 hours).

    • Spend the day exploring Dibrugarh’s renowned tea gardens, and visit Dehing Satra and Koli Aai Thaan.

  • Relax in the peaceful surroundings of the tea estates.
