Banswara
Today let’s know about Banswara at the bottom of Araballi.
It’s an offbeat destination of Rajasthan. Banswara has two more names – ‘The City of Hundred Island’ and ‘Cherrapunji in Rajasthan’, the name implies what a place this Banswara is. The river “Mahi” or ‘Chachakota’ flows through Banswara, and there are innumerable small islands in it. And the highest rainfall in Rajasthan is in this Banswara. Banswara is just the opposite as we think about Rajasthan. It’s not a desert, but a land of green waves, surrounded by small hills. Banswara is situated at the very southern end of the Araballi range. The original inhabitants here are “Vill”. They have contributed a lot to the history of Rajasthan. Banswara is an excellent place to enjoy the indigenous culture. During the reign of Maharawal Jagmal Singh, Banswara was in full motion.
