Itinerary
Day 1

Chandigarh to Narkanda (174 kms / 7-8 hours)

  • Arrival: Land at Chandigarh Airport at 1:30 am and head towards Narkanda.
  • Journey Highlights: Enjoy breaks along the way to appreciate the transition from urban to lush green valleys and apple orchards.
  • Destination: Stay in Narkanda, a serene location amidst the mountains.
  • Overnight Stay: Narkanda.
Day 2

Narkanda to Sarahan (165 kms / 6-7 hours)

  • Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty breakfast with mountain views.
  • Journey Highlights: Drive via Rampur, with Sutlej River accompanying you from Sainj.
  • Sightseeing:
    • Hatu Peak: Visit for panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges.
  • Destination: Sarahan, one of the most picturesque villages in India.

Day 3

Sarahan to Chitkul (105 kms / 5-6 hours)

  • Morning: Visit Bhima Kali Temple, a significant religious site in Sarahan.
  • Journey Highlights: Drive to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.

    • Taranda Mata Temple: En route visit this temple known for its spiritual significance.

Day 4

Chitkul to Kalpa (65 kms / 4-5 hours)

    • Reckong Peo: The district headquarters of Kinnaur.

Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (170 kms / 9 hours)

  • Sightseeing:

Day 6

Kaza to Langza, Hikkim, Komic, and Back (70 kms / 3 hours)

    • Komic: One of the highest villages globally, with the Tangyud Monastery.
  • Return: Drive back to Kaza.

Day 8

Kaza to Chandratal via Lohsar (120 kms / 5 hours)

  • Journey Highlights: Drive to Chandratal Lake via Key Monastery, Kibber Village, Chicham Bridge, Lohsar Village, and Kunzum Pass.
  • Sightseeing:
    • Key Monastery: One of the largest monasteries in Spiti.
    • Chicham Bridge: The highest bridge in Asia.
    • Chandratal Lake: A stunning high-altitude lake, also known as the “Moon Lake.”

Day 9

Chandratal to Manali via Kunzum and Rohtang Pass/Atal Tunnel (120 kms / 7 hours)

  • Journey Highlights: The drive from Chandratal to Manali is challenging but incredibly scenic. Choose between the Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass for the final stretch.
  • Sightseeing: Enjoy the dramatic landscapes, waterfalls, and the confluence of the Chandra and Bhaga rivers.
  • Destination: Manali.
  • Overnight Stay: Manali.
Day 10

Manali to Chandigarh (290 kms / 10 hours)

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
