Day 1

Arrival in Patna (PNBE) – Local Sightseeing

  • Pickup Point: Patna Junction Railway Station (PNBE) or Patna Airport (PAT).
  • Begin your sightseeing tour in Patna:
    • Golghar: A historic granary built by the British in 1786, offering panoramic views of Patna.
    • Gandhi Statue: A landmark statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Maidan, symbolizing his leadership in India’s independence movement.
    • Sabhayata Dwar: A gateway commemorating Bihar’s rich cultural heritage.
    • Bihar Museum: A modern museum showcasing Bihar’s history, art, and archaeology.
    • ISKCON Temple: A temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, offering a peaceful spiritual environment.
    • Gandhi Ghat: A serene riverside ghat on the banks of the Ganga River, known for its evening Ganga Aarti.

Day 2

Patna – Umga Sun Temple – Tutla Bhawani – Sasaram

  • After breakfast, travel to Sasaram with stops at significant attractions along the way:
    • Umga/Deo Sun Temple: An ancient temple dedicated to the Sun God, renowned for its historical and architectural significance (located near Aurangabad).
    • Tutla Bhawani Waterfall and Devi Temple: A natural waterfall and temple dedicated to Goddess Bhawani, nestled amidst scenic beauty.
  • Continue your journey to Sasaram, the historic town known for its Mughal-era monuments.

Day 3

Sasaram – Mundeshwari – Sasaram

  • After breakfast, visit these key attractions:
    • Mundeshwari Devi Temple: One of India’s oldest functional temples, dedicated to Devi Mundeshwari, known for its unique octagonal shape (located in Kaimur district).

  • After completing the sightseeing, return to Sasaram.

Sasaram – Patna (Departure)

  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Patna.
  • Drop-off Point: Patna Junction Railway Station (PNBE) or Patna Airport (PAT) for your onward journey.
