Day 1
Arrival at Bankura & Bishnupur Sightseeing
- Pickup from Bankura Railway Station (BOA): Arrive in Bankura and proceed to Bishnupur (approx. 34 km from Bankura).
- Check-in: Check into your hotel/homestay in Bishnupur.
- Bishnupur Historical Monuments Tour:
Bishnupur is famous for its terracotta temples and rich history. Key attractions include: - Rasmancha: The oldest brick temple in Bishnupur, built by King Bir Hambir in 1600 AD, known for its unique structure.
- Jor Bangla Temple (Keshta Rai Temple): A classic example of “do-chala” architecture built by King Raghunath Singh in 1655 AD.
- Shyamrai Temple (Pancharatna Temple): Known for its terracotta panels depicting epic tales from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
- Madan Mohan Temple: Famous for intricate terracotta carvings and devoted to Lord Krishna.
- Dalmadal Cannon: A giant cannon used by the Malla Kings during their reign.

Day 2
Transfer to Mukutmanipur & Sightseeing
- Morning: After breakfast, check out and proceed to Mukutmanipur (approx. 55 km from Bishnupur).
- Check-in and Refresh: Arrive at your hotel or resort in Mukutmanipur, overlooking the scenic Kangsabati Dam.
- Sightseeing at Mukutmanipur:
- Kangsabati Dam: One of the largest earthen dams in India. Walk or use eco-friendly vehicles around the dam for sightseeing.
- Pareshnath Shiv Mandir: A peaceful temple near the dam, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Musafirana View Point: Offers panoramic views of the hills and the Kangsabati Lake.
- Deer Park: A small sanctuary housing deer and other wildlife.
- Lunch: Have lunch at the Mukutmanipur Food Court, operated by the Mukutmanipur Development Authority.

- Ajodhya Hills Sightseeing: Ajodhya Hills is a part of the Chotanagpur Plateau, known for its scenic beauty, waterfalls, and tribal culture.
- Turga Waterfalls: A stunning waterfall surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for photography and relaxation.
- Bamni Falls: Another spectacular waterfall located in the Ajodhya Hills region.
- Mayur Pahar (Peacock Hill): Famous for its mesmerizing views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
- Charida Village: Known as the mask-making village, Charida is famous for its Chhau dance masks.
- Pakhi Pahar: A hill with a unique bird-shaped carving, often visited by trekkers.
- Lunch: Have lunch at a local restaurant or picnic spot amidst the natural beauty of the hills.
- Afternoon:
- Upper and Lower Dam: Visit the dams constructed on the Subarnarekha River, offering serene landscapes and a peaceful environment.
- Sita Kund: A sacred natural spring associated with the legend of Lord Rama and Sita. It’s a religious spot for many locals.

Departure from Purulia / Bankura
- Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy a relaxing morning in Purulia town.
- Optional Sightseeing in Purulia:
- Joychandi Pahar: Famous for its rock formations and a great spot for trekking. It is also a popular picnic spot, offering panoramic views of the landscape.
- Baranti Lake: A beautiful lake surrounded by hills, ideal for a peaceful morning walk or photography.
- Return to Railway Station:
- Purulia Railway Station (PRR)
