Day 1
Arrival in Leh
- Activities:
- Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel.
- Full day rest for acclimatization to adjust to the high altitude of Leh (3,524 meters or 11,562 feet above sea level).
- Evening at leisure to explore local markets (optional).
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2
Leh to Sham Valley (West Indus Valley) Sightseeing
- Activities:
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day sightseeing tour of Sham Valley:
- Lamayuru Monastery – One of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, known for its unique architecture and location.
- Moonland – A region with landscapes resembling the surface of the moon.
- Sangam (Zanskar-Indus Confluence) – The confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers, offering stunning views.
- Magnetic Hill – A gravity-defying hill where vehicles appear to move uphill on their own.
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – A Sikh temple built in memory of Guru Nanak, who is believed to have visited the region.
- Return to Leh in the evening.
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day sightseeing tour of Sham Valley:

Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
- Activities:
- After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
- En route, enjoy stunning views of the Karakoram Range.
- In Nubra Valley, participate in various activities:
- ATV Ride and Zip Line Activity – Adventure sports for thrill-seekers.
- Camel Safari at Hunder Sand Dunes – Ride double-humped Bactrian camels across the dunes.
- Visit Diskit Monastery – The oldest and largest monastery in the Nubra Valley, known for its large Maitreya Buddha statue.

Day 4
Nubra Valley to Turtuk & Thang; Return to Nubra Valley

- After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, the northernmost village in India, located near the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan.
- Explore Turtuk, known for its unique Balti culture, apricot orchards, and stunning landscapes.

- Return to Nubra Valley by evening.

Day 5
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
- Activities:
- After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake via the Shyok River Route.
- Enjoy the scenic drive through rugged mountains and alongside the Shyok River.
- Arrive at Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake at 4,350 meters (14,270 feet), famous for its changing hues of blue.
- Evening at leisure by the lake, capturing the mesmerizing sunset views.
- Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 6
Pangong Lake to Leh
- Activities:
- After breakfast, return to Leh with sightseeing en route:
- Thiksey Monastery – A beautiful monastery located on a hilltop, known for its architecture and a large statue of Maitreya Buddha.
- Shey Palace – The former summer palace of the Ladakhi kings, with a monastery housing a giant copper and gold Buddha statue.
- Rancho’s School (Druk Padma Karpo School) – Also known as the “3 Idiots School,” made famous by the Bollywood film “3 Idiots.”
- Shanti Stupa – A Buddhist white-domed stupa offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains.
- After breakfast, return to Leh with sightseeing en route:
- Arrive in Leh and check into your hotel.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7
Departure from Leh
- Activities:
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, carrying sweet memories of the Leh-Ladakh trip.
